Brookes and Zhang Talk About Their Trip

In an effort to raise money for charity, Danny Brookes and Edwin Zhang will be taking their longboards on an epic journey. They are skating across New Jersey!

On August 10th, they start out in High Point State Park and stop in Newton for their first charity event.  By August 18th, they plan to be in Cape May for their last one.  Here’s the whole route:

8/10/10 : High Point State Park and Newton, NJ
8/11/10 : Chester, NJ
8/12/10 : Hillsborough, NJ
8/13/10 : Hightstown, NJ
8/14/10 : Browns Mills, NJ
8/15/10 : Hammonton, NJ
8/16/10 : Northfield, NJ
8/17/10 : Sea Isle City, NJ
8/18/10 : Cape May, NJ

We can’t wait to cheer them on.  If you’re in the area of any of their stops, try to stop by and meet these teens and support their big ride and great cause!  You can also follow them on Facebook or check out their blog.

The charity they are working with is called Alex’s Lemonade Stand and they set up lemonade stands on sidewalks, in businesses and just about anywhere else to raise money for cancer research.  Check out their website here.  It’s a really great organization that’s raised over $30 million already and more than $12 million of that is from little cups of lemonade!
