2. Black Swan

Natalie Portman’s most daring role and a riveting psychological thriller.

3. 127 Hours

Danny Boyle adds even more variety to his resume and James Franco carries the film.

4. Ghost Writer

Intelligent, atmospheric and suspenseful, a unique movie.

5. The Fighter

Based on a true story, Christian Bale gives the stand-out performance in this film.

6. The King’s Speech

An intimate movie about a politician working to overcome a speech impediment.

7. Kick-Ass

A breath of fresh air in the superhero genre with a realistic take on costumed vigilantism

8. The Town

Ben Affleck directs and stars in this movie about career bank robbers.

9. Inception

A cerebral and visually stunning film about dreams within dreams.
