NY Jets Vs. Indianapolis Colts 8pm Saturday Lucas Oil Stadium
The “wild-card” Jets travel to Indianapolis for the first round of the 2010 NFL Playoffs and it is not going to be an easy task. The Peyton Manning Colts, who have one of the, if not the greatest, quarterbacks in the history of the game, look to prove doubters wrong and show the world that injury’s and inexperience are only a obstacle when it comes to winning playoff games. All you need is the world’s best quarterback and people to catch the ball is what Indy is trying to prove.
The J-E-T-S are set out to show everyone that being an underdog is a benefit not a consequence, and want revenge on the Colts for knocking them out of the playoffs early last year. Coach Rex Ryan calls it “personal” and the Colts call it “just another game against a good team”.
Whatever you want to call it, it is going to be a great game. Let’s see if Mark Sanchez can go pound for pound against one of the greats. What the Jets need to do to win this game is exploit the Indy defense and match the Colts offense reception for reception. The weakness with Indy is their defense, that is the aspect of the game the Jets need to take advantage of.
This game is going to prove to fans and everyone else just how good Mark Sanchez is. Will he be able to go up against a legend? Can Sanchez exploit a weak defense? We will find out Saturday night won’t we now.
