The 37th Annual Beatles Fans Celebration, takes place Friday-Sunday, March 25-27, at the NJ Crowne Plaza Meadowlands Hotel, which is located at 2 Harmon Plaza, Secaucus, NJ.
It was 50 years ago that Manager Brian Epstein first saw The Beatles at Liverpool’s Cavern Club. The rest is history. Beatles Fans and Vendors from around the world will come together to enjoy non-stop Beatles activities in 15 Ballrooms and areas of the Hotel, from 5 PM till 12:00 Midnight Friday, 12 Noon till 12 Midnight Saturday, & 12 Noon till 10:30 PM Sunday.
Between now and Fest time, attendees and 120,000 Facebook friends will be able to enter to win a flyaway to Las Vegas to see The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Prize package includes airfare, 2 nights at the Mirage, dinner for 2 and a VIP gift bag. The winner will be picked live on stage Sunday, March 27th, at around 7:45 PM.
We have another great line up of special guests friends and musicians who span the entire Beatles era from the early 1960s till today. Photo Exhibit & Documentaries
Chico’s House of Jazz Presents a three day Photo Exhibit of the Legendary Jazz Musicians in American history. In addition to the photo exhibit, there will be video documentaries shown on the large screen of the lives of Charlie Rouse, Thelonious Monk, Phil Woods, Dizzy Gillespie, and many more. There will also be a documentary of the musical history of the creation of Bebop; which is an era of America’s classical music, Jazz. Three of the documentaries showing were produced by Ken Burns and one by Clint Eastwood. Photo exhibit created by George Wirt and Charlie Cox.

The exhibitors representing the training agencies for scuba diving, major manufacturers of scuba equipment and accessories come to BENEATH THE SEA so you may see, touch, and talk to experts about what is new in scuba diving products. For the Dive Traveler, BENEATH THE SEA is full up with dive destinations, liveaboard dive boats, resorts, and airlines that will take you to those far away places. If it is technique, you want to learn — be it digitally editing video, digitally manipulating your underwater imagery, catching-up to all that flash-and-dash on the Internet Beneath the Sea is the place to do it. Do you want to find out how you can save a life, or discover the latest in mixed-gas diving? It doesn’t matter what you want to learn to do BENEATH THE SEA will have over 50 seminars, and workshops explaining the latest from the fields of scuba diving, oceanography, Northeast diving, wrecks, rescue, and all kinds of underwater photography.
Oh, did I mention that Beneath the Sea is celebrating its 35th anniversary – that means all sorts of special events.
PARTY ON!!! BENEATH THE SEA is a great place to meet and socialize with other divers, talk to the experts, and find that special buddy you’ve been looking for on every dive boat from New Haven to Papua New Guinea. Helping you to do that, BENEATH THE SEA opens their exhibits Friday night, the 25th; and then lets the evening spill over into an opening Tec/Wreck party at one hotel and the Fish n’ Famous gala at another hotel … pick your party, jeans or black tie.. Saturday is the busiest day at BENEATH THE SEA. … Still, there is time for the V.I.P. awards dinner with its presentation of the annual Divers of the Year awards; and then our special Saturday evening’ International Film Festival. Following the Film Festival is the Decompression Party filled with music, dancing, refreshments, and prizes. . Sunday the excitement continues with the Ocean Pals Sea of Sweets party and special events program for children, their families and teachers – children accompanied by adults admitted free.
Throughout Friday, Beneath the Sea will dazzle you with special events. Friday is Marine Careers Day when high school and college students from throughout the New York Metro Area meet with leaders from the dive industry to discover what it takes to achieve success and recognition in the exciting marine world. Friday is also the day when the Public Service diving community meets for a series of updates and advances in technique and equipment as presented by DAN (Divers Alert Network) and a team of knowledgeable presenters coordinated by Beneath the Sea Public Service Diving specialists.
