Pumpkin Shortage? Better Get Them Now!

That’s an Expensive Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!  Reports are the Northeast, including New Jersey, may face a pumpkin shortage due to Hurricane Irene.  Some local pumpkin farmers are saying their crops are destroyed.  Local merchants might have to import some pumpkins from states like Ohio and Indiana.  You might just have to carve a turnip like they did in the old days.  Maybe you can pick up a pumpkin after winning bidding war on eBay.  What if this is just a big conspiracy to get us to buy more pumpkins?

Laugh if you will… but think about the pie.  What about the pumpkin pie??
