If you listen close you can almost hear the surf, the sea gulls, and the hubbub on the boardwalk. Before you know it summer will be here. And if there is one thing about summer in our state that people are opinionated about it is their favorite beach. The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium is now giving you a chance to let your vote count in their 5th Annual New Jersey’s Top Ten Beaches Poll. There are three categories you can vote in – “Family Vacation”, “Day Trips”, and “Ecotourism”. Simply click on the category, hit “Click here to cast your vote!” link, select your beach and vote. It’s that simple.
In addition to voting for your favorite beach there is also a New Jersey Coastal Issues Poll that you can take and select what issue you think will have the biggest impact on the future of coastal New Jersey. This also gives you the chance to win one of four Jersey Coast Prize Packages that will include merchandise, gift certificates and coupons for restaurants and iconic shore eateries, amusement parks, winery tour passes and more.
