Centennial Celebrations LLC, the organization that is producing the week-long series of charity events called Titanic, ‘A Night To Remember,” which focuses on the 100th Anniversary of that historic event, announced today that A great many of the items that will be available for the Maritime – Marine Auction on Thursday April 12, 2012, have had their pictures posted on the Centennial Celebrations LLC Website in full color.
Additional items are expected to be included and added as time permits. They will also be available for detailed inspection and examination prior to the sale commencing. Bill Barron, Principle of Wm. Barron Galleries, Inc. will be the host auctioneer. Barron’s reputation is widely known and respected for his companies long standing presence in the region, and more specifically because of the level of service extended to their clients and customers. Mr. Barron will be assisted by an equally qualified associate. Mr. Tim Wilbert, of T. Paul Wilbert & Associates, Auctioneers and Appraisers, who will also be conducting many of the professional functions during the sale.
Items of memorabilia involving Sports, Music, Traveling Circus, Entertainment, and History are going to offered up for bid. They include Civil War prints, opera playbills, boxing signs, collectible plates matted and framed in shadow boxes, rock and roll related items, antique lamps, statues and boxes, Harley Davidson collectibles, African American folk art, and vintage sporting goods are also being offer up for bid. Remember discounts are available for purchases of tickets for multiple events and by groups. Half and quarter page space in the Saturday Evening Gala Event Program Guide – Event Journal are now also available, and on a very limited basis.
