Wildflower Earthly Vegan Fare, Millville – Review

Have you ever eaten sunshine?  No, not the molten hot actual sun.  But, fresh crisp sunshine?  We did recently at Wildflower Earthly Vegan Fare in Millville.

This wrap was so insanely fresh and delicious that I felt like the sunshine that helped these veggies grow was being mainlined right into my blood.  This is just ONE of the delicious vegan treats on the menu at Wildflower.  Behold the Hummus, Avocado and Veggie Wrap.  Wrapped up in the biggest whole wheat tortilla I’ve ever seen was hummus made from scratch, avocado, tomato, red cabbage, a spring mix of lettuces and carrot shreds. Luckily, I had friends with me would could take some of this off my hands.  I couldn’t have finished this all by myself.  Especially because gluten free apple pie was coming later!

Before the wrap, I had even had a white bean and vegetable soup that was so hot I had to eat it very slowly.  Well, that helped me savor all the different hits of flavor as I chewed on all those veggies!

Both my fellow diners had the vegan Sloppy Joe sandwiches.  If I hadn’t been eaten the sunshine wrap, I would have wanted one of these sandwiches, too! I totally forgot to ask what kind of non-meat base was used for this but it looked to me like brown rice and either tofu or seitan (wheat gluten). But, what do I know?  Mainly what I know is that I understand why customers come back all the time for those Sloppy Joe’s.  They were incredible.

And, then there was dessert!  Wow!  We tried two things (because we could only fit two things in after those enormous lunches).  The vegan chocolate on chocolate cupcake was so rich that mere mortals could have only eaten a few bites.  Luckily, we are professionals so we gobbled it all down.  Second, came the gluten free apple pie that I could have eaten all day.  The crust was crumbly, nutty and deliciously tender.  There were TONS of apples in it surrounded by a cinnamony glazey sauce that was in perfect harmony with the fruit.  This dear readers is why you eat vegan and healthy—so you can have MORE DESSERT!

Here are all our pics from our visit to Wildflower Earthly Vegan Fare.  Get down there if you know what’s good for your body and your soul!  The menu changes on a weekly basis so check their website or Facebook page before you go if you want something specific.  Honestly, though, I can’t imagine that anything is bad here.  Seriously.
