One of our favorite New Jersey bands, The Front Bottoms, released their sophomore album ‘Talon of the Hawk’ on Tuesday and celebrated with an in-store acoustic performance and signing at Vintage Vinyl in Fords. In front of an enthusiastic audience the band played many tracks from the new album including Skeleton, Backflip and early favorite Funny You Should Ask. Singer Brian Sella delivers his funny, poignant with a touch of angst lyrics with more confidence than ever and drummer Mathew Uychich played with his usual intensity. The band has added two musicians to the mix which give the band a fuller sound, Tom Warren on bass and Ciaran O’Donnell on keyboards, guitar and trumpet thought they were on acoustic guitars for this performance.
