The Second Annual CelebrateHAMILTON Program runs from July 11th through the 14th.  The Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society is hosting this series of public events surrounding the date that the duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton took place.  We went to the Duel Remembrance in Weehawken last year and the AHA Society folks are a really fun group of people who make a really nice presentation.

This year’s Duel Rememberance is Thursday, July 11th, from noon to 1:00pm at Hamilton Park in Weehawken. It’s free to attend and they’ll gather at the bust of Alexander Hamilton on Hamilton Ave to commemorate the duel that took place between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton on that day 209 years ago. Hear eyewitness accounts of the duel as we overlook its original location on the shores of the New Jersey side of the Hudson River.
