New Brunswick, NJ—State Theatre and Thunder 106 present country artist Josh Turner on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 8pm. The double-platinum singer-songwriter will perform songs from his latest Punching Bag,as well as his chart-topping hits. Turner’s hits include, “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Your Man,” “Would You Go With Me,” and “Everything Is Fine.” Opening for Turner is Nashville singer-songwriter Ayla Brown. Tickets range from $35-75.
Known for his unique deep voice, Josh Turner has something different to show the country music world. Showcasing his bluegrass influences and trademark baritone voice, Turner has inspired himself and others in the music industry. Since his debut in 2001 at the Grand Ole Opry, a country music festival held in Nashville Tennessee, Turner has been writing hits such as, “Long Black Train,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” and “Everything Is Fine.”
Following his 2010 release, Punching Bag is a fearless record, focused, committed and confident. Inspired by events in his life, Josh Turner writes from his heart. His voice can transform an ordinary song to a resonating masterpiece. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
