The Jets and Eagles have a lot at stake this week but the Giants…not so much.

Thursday night was the same story for the New York Giants as they lost 27-21 to the Chicago Bears. The Giants were in the game all night and running back Brandon Jacobs had a stellar game. However Eli Manning’s problems continued. They were driving for the winning score but Eli overshot tight end Brandon Myers for his third interception of the night and that was that. The Bears just ran out the clock. Should Eli be benched? He is a two-time Super Bowl MVP. He does leads the league in picks though and something just does not seem right with him.  They need to try something different! The G-Men are 0-6. The knocking on the door is getting louder for Tom Coughlin to go and he is on the hot seat but the Giants are not one of those franchises that fires a coach just to make a change. They will probably wait for everything to unravel and then come to an agreement in the off season to part ways.

The New York Jets play the 0-4 Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow at Metlife Stadium. Coming off their big high flying win over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football the Jets have to be very careful. Despite their record, don’t count out the Steelers and their quarterback ‘Big Ben’. It’s typical for the Jets to tease their fans and play with their emotions by giving them a little bit of happiness and then pulling the rug out from under them by losing to a team that they should absolutely beat. They should especially win considering how beat up Pittsburgh is but the Jets don’t handle prosperity well. They will probably find a way to screw it up but hopefully they will keep their composure and win a game that they should realistically be able to handle easily. If the Jets win and the New Orleans Saints beat the New England Patriots, the Jets will take on the Patriots for first place in their division next week.

Will it be Michael Vick or Nick Foles? Chip Kelly is not tipping his hand on who the starting quarterback will be. It could even be a game time decision when the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers at 1:00 p.m. It is more likely that Nick Foles will start as Vick is recovering from injury but Vick can run the offense better than Foles. The Eagles pretty much have to win it if they want to distinguish themselves this year. A lot of players on the Buccaneers are not happy with Coach Schiano right now and releasing quarterback Josh Freeman will not help if there is a revolution in the locker room. The other players will not cooperate and Schiano could be going down in a blaze of glory. This is a key game for the Eagles who are tied for first place with the (2-3) Cowboys. Despite their still hideous defense they have the talent to win and if the Cowboys lose the Eagles will move into first place in their division by reaching .500.
