Here’s what is on our radar this week. We can’t guarantee that we’ll go to all these places but there’s a good chance we’ll be at some of them. Support local arts or get outside and do something with us!
Saturday, July 15th beginning at 1pm, Lucky 7’s, Jersey City
Mark your calendar for the best block party of the summer in Jersey City, as we present the 6th Annual L7’s Rock ‘n Roll BBQ on July 15, 2017! As usual, second street will be shut down to make room for ice cold beer from Peerless Beverage Company, The Brooklyn Brewery can station, whiskey, bands, BBQ, and or course, cornhole! Plenty of fun for the little ones too in our “kid zone”, including a dunking booth, pool, toys, and a bouncy house. Food, music, beer and fun get started at 1pm!

Come see Fort Mott in the Victorian age! The Boer War and Victorian Living History event brings the uniforms and traditions of late Victorian Britain and the Commonwealth to historic Fort Mott. At the same time that Fort Mott was being completed, the war between the British and Boer settlers in South Africa ushered in a new era of warfare. Come witness period camps, uniform and weapon displays, a tactical between British and Boer forces, Victorian civilian attire, and even a cricket match! All Victorian British, Commonwealth, or Boer impressions are welcome. Military or Civilian. All reenactor participants must register for the event. Authenticity and saftey guidelines will apply for all those interested in pariticpating in the skirmishes between British and Boer forces.
