We drove down to Wildwood and Atlantic City for a few days of R&R and the Skate Cape May team was in Northfield which was nearby so we decided to stop by and see how they were doing on their skate across our fair state.  You may remember that we blogged about them before.

We caught them about five minutes after they arrived at the lemonade stand at Rita’s on Route 9 so we only chatted with them for a few minutes.  But, we did get lemonade and made our donation so we were happy with our visit.

They said so far their most difficult miles were the second day in the rain and uphill and also the third day when they needed to ride five miles on a dirt road.  Despite that, they looked good and not too road-worn.  Only two more days left and they’ll be in Cape May.  Good luck guys!
