About The School of Rock
The School of Rock – the apparent inspiration for the Jack Black full-length hit comedy, “School of Rock” – was founded in 1998 in Philadelphia, PA. The company presently operates over 60 schools and plans to have 400 schools by the year 2012. To date, its students have played a myriad of concerts at legendary music venues throughout the world.
