New Jersey Hall of Fame – First Statewide Exhibition – Asbury Park Boardwalk

ASBURY PARK — The New Jersey Hall of Fame officially opened its first statewide exhibition honoring famous New Jerseyans on the Asbury Park boardwalk on Wednesday. It is the five-year-old Hall of Fame’s first exhibition and includes 30 large prints of residents or natives who have made significant contributions to the state, country or world.

New Jersey Hall of Fame Mission

The New Jersey Hall of Fame has been created to honor New Jerseyans who have made invaluable contributions to society and the world beyond. The Hall of Fame reinforces the message to children that they can and should strive for excellence in any endeavor of their choosing. By presenting significant and powerful role models and teaching young people about the voting process, the Hall of Fame is a source of learning, inspiration and hope for children.
