Hold Back the Rain – Bloomfield Flooding

Mother Nature sure put on a show today.  Thunder and lightning, hail the size of marbles.  We were out driving at one point and there were times it was raining so hard the fast setting on the windshield wipers had little effect.  Many motorists pulled their cars over to the side of the road to wait out the storms.  Be careful out there!

As evening sets in there are dangerous conditions in many parts of the state.  Flash flooding, downed branches and power lines, and blocked streets are among the hazards out there so use caution if you are venturing out tonight.  Brookside Park here in Bloomfield had major flooding today. The Third River, a tributary of the Passaic River, flows through it and it was raging.  You can see some pics and video below.
