Weehawken and West New York want to use their location as an advantage in luring investors into bringing a Formula One race to their cities. That’s right. Imagine the fastest circuit racing cars in the world careening around the curvy streets on top of the Palisades with the New York skyline right across the Hudson. According to the Wall Street Journal, that dream is beginning to look like it might happen. This would be the second race coming to the U.S. since Austin announced a race will be coming to Texas next year. Not sure how they would pull this off logistically (see proposed route below) but it could be fun. Of course it could also be a dangerous proposition and financial disaster. What do you think?
