Still Time To Vote For Your Favorite New Jersey Beach

Do you like the family fun of The Wildwoods or the groove of Asbury Park?  The craziness of Seaside Heights or the relaxed atmosphere of Avon-by-the-Sea?  You still have time to vote in the New Jersey Top Ten Beaches survey by The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium (NJSGC) and the Richard Stockton College Coastal Research Center. Last day for voting is April 30th, though, so get it done quick!

This year a single-question coastal issues poll was added that asks visitors to select from a list of twenty issues the one they think will have the biggest impact on New Jersey’s Coastal future. This will help determine the 2012 New Jersey Top Ten Coastal Concerns list and give NJSGC valuable information to help it focus and plan for future outreach and education projects.

To thank participants, NJSGC has worked closely with key tourism representatives from Sandy Hook to Cape May to coordinate a Jersey Coast Prize Packages giveaway. Web site visitors can opt to enter a drawing for one of four prize packages that feature county-wide attractions and activities that can be enjoyed while down and around the shore. The four prize packages will represent Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May counties and include merchandise, gift certificates and coupons for restaurants and iconic shore eateries, hotel or bed & breakfast establishments, amusement piers, a seasonal boat slip, theme park, festival or aquarium passes, and lots more.

So don’t delay.  Head on over to vote now!
