An article in the Bergen Record should have all North Jersey grocery shoppers swooning this week. Wegmans Supermarkets announced on their website that Montvale is the site of a future store. Finally, we can stop making the drive to Woodbridge or Bridgewater to have the lunch/grocery shop that South Jersey folks have been enjoying for some time now.
Haven’t been to a Wegmans? You’re missing out!
The staff are all friendly. They have regular tasting stations around the store. Their store brand items are amazingly good. And, there’s a buffet in the front of every store. This means you can get hot food to go on a night when you don’t feel like cooking or, better yet, you can have lunch in the store before you shop. They have sandwiches, pizza, wings, fried chicken, Indian and Chinese food, soups, sushi and on and on.
Welcome, Wegmans, to North Jersey and we hope to see some more stores around soon, too!
