The Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of Summer and the kickoff of the busiest time for the Jersey Shore.  Sure the official first day of Summer is still almost a month away but who’s really counting?

We decided to head over to Ocean City the day before the chaos begins to take a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the calm before the crowds come .  We saw workers putting last minute touches on amusement rides, concession folks polishing countertops and tables, and kids opening boxes and stocking the shelves of t-shirt stores.
