Greek Town Gyros, Rutherford – Review

We’re wild for falafel and hummus and Greek Town Gyros has some of the best!

Super crunchy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside.  Served piping hot and with a side of those classic lemon potatoes.  Simply perfect falafel.

Lucky for us, everything else we tried at Greek Town Gyros was also really good.

The hummus was just right—not too spicy or thin. And beautiful, fresh pita wedges accompanied it.

We got a Chicken Caesar Salad that had a little too much dressing for my taste but that was easily taken off the top since it wasn’t mixed in with the greens.  A nice touch for someone who doesn’t like much dressing.  Fresh lettuce, chopped chicken and pita pieces.  Simply a really nice salad.

Finally, we tried a Chicken Souvlaki wrap which was PACKED with fresh fillings.  Nice hot chicken, lettuce, tomato and lots of creamy sauce.  This was a wrap that was a real meal.  Excellent, excellent stuff at Greek Town Gyros!

Plenty of seating at the counter and at tables, too.  This is a family-run place with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food.  A winning combination that we can’t wait to go back to!
