New Brunswick, NJ —State Theatre presents Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3pm. Hanna will introduce audiences to his favorite animal friends and share stories and footage from his adventures across the globe. Tickets range from $20-50.

After years of educating America on wildlife, Jack Hanna has made his mark as America’s favorite zookeeper. His countless contributions and enthusiastic approach to wildlife conservation have earned him recognition as an author, conservationist, television host, and Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Throughout his 15 year stint as the Director of the Columbus Zoo, Hanna improved living conditions for the animals and brought national attention to the zoo.

Hanna took his passion for wildlife and shared it with national audiences with the launch of his television show Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures, which ran from 1993 to 2008, and more recently Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild and ABC’s Jack Hanna’s Wild CountdownInto the Wild is an unscripted program, following Hanna and his family as they travel the world discovering animals and cultures along the way. In its first season, Into the Wild won an Emmy® for Outstanding Children’s Series. Along with the success of his own television shows, Hanna has made numerous other television appearances since 1983 on shows like Larry King LiveThe Late Show with David LettermanGood Morning America, FOX News programs, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. His frequent exposure has made him one of the most recognized and respected animal ambassadors in the world.
