Bolero Snort Brewery in Ridgefield Park is celebrating the launch of their first commercially available batches of brew this week.  Bottled versions of the beers are expected in a few months.

The two beers are Blackhorn American Black Lager (6.5% ABV) and Ragin’ Bull American Amber Lager (5.0% ABV).

Each night they’re having special events at each of the bars that are now serving the brews.  Last night they opened at Barcade in Jersey City.

Tonight, they’re at the Taphouse Grill at 344 French Hill Road in Wayne. From 7:00pm to 9:00pm, Ragin’ Bull and Blackhorn will both be on tap. There will also be a specialty firkin of Blackhorn aged on vanilla and coffee beans (called “Jittery” Blackhorn).

Thursday, February 28th, from 7-9pm, they’re tapping the kegs at Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell where both Ragin’ Bull and Blackhorn will be on draught.

The Shepherd and the Knucklehead in Haledon will have the Friday, March 1st,  event from 7-9pm where again both Ragin’ Bull and Blackhorn will be on tap.

Saturday, the Copper Mine Pub in North Arlington will have a bigger event that starts at 3:00pm and lasts all night.  Ragin’ Bull and Blackhorn will be on tap, as well as a firkin of Ragin’ Bull aged on hazelnuts and a super special pin of Blackhorn aged on rum-soaked oak and a touch of coconut.

Sounds like every night will be fun but Saturday sounds pretty awesome with four flavors available all day.

See you there!
