New Brunswick, NJ —State Theatre presents two-time Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 8pm. Caillat’s hits include “Bubbly,” “Realize,” “Fallin’ for You,” and “Lucky.” Opening for Caillat is Seattle singer-songwriter Noah Gunderson. Tickets range from $35-65.
Caillat’s first album COCO debuted at No. 5 and raced its way past the multi-Platinum barrier. Her first single, “Bubbly,” caught a generation’s imagination and has become one of the best-selling digital tracks of all time. Billboard took note by naming Caillat its Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Her second albumBREAKTHROUGH broke at No. 1 and was honored with two Grammy® nominations; that same year, Colbie won two Grammys for her collaborations with Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift.
Her most recent studio album ALL OF YOU netted Caillat her sixth platinum single in Brighter Than the Sun and a gold single for “I Do.” Brighter Than the Sunwas featured more than 20 film, TV shows, and commercials. Last year, Caillat released her first holiday album ever, CHRISTMAS IN THE SAND. Produced by her Grammy®-winning father Ken Caillat, it was a top selling holiday album and featured duets with Gavin DeGraw, Brad Paisley, and others.
Caillat works for honorable causes including the Surfrider Foundation, Save the Music, Farm Sanctuary, and the Humane Society of the U.S.
