2013 Location

We’ve out-grown our digs! After just the first year we’ve grown too large to stay at the 61,000 sq. foot Meadowlands Exposition Center. So we will move 25 minutes south to the 2.5x bigger (150,000 sq. feet) NJ Convention & Exposition Center. The larger space will be used to double the size of the Fine Mineral and Gem Gallery, triple the number of dealers on the main exposition floor, and create a separate 90-booth ‘Wholesale Only’ section for business-to-business sales. Additional benefits of the move include a 30x larger Special Exhibit area, a 100-person onsite restaurant, more conveniences, easier exhibitor unloading, better highway access, improved mass transit options, and unlimited free
parking.

2013 Show Details

The theme is “The Minerals and Fossils of NY & NJ”. Both the Franklin Mineral Museum and the Sterling Hill Mine Tour & Museum of Fluorescence will partner to turn the Junior Ballroom into a darkened UltraViolet room with glow-in-the-dark minerals. Six more museums and 24 notable collectors will fill another 50 cases with premium specimens from NY, NJ and other nearby localities. The Main Ballroom is the home of the high-end ‘Fine Mineral & Gem Gallery’ which will showcase millions of dollars worth of gems and minerals. On the huge exposition floor you’ll browse hundreds of booths of jewelry, gems, gold, minerals, fossils, and dinosaurs. And all for sale! 10,000 visitors are expected. Friday will be the least busy, so try to come on that day. Please help us achieve our goal of becoming the largest gem show in the USA by coming to our show and doing business with our exhibitors.
