We started with 32 NJ icons as competitors in our first annual New Jersey Battle Brackets and we’re down to our Final Four. It’s been an exciting ride so far and none of the Final Four icons are huge surprises.
This round, though, we’ve two incredibly tough choices to vote for.
In our North/South Battle, we’ve got High Point Division Champ Taylor Ham up against Cape May Division Champ Seaside Heights. Taylor Ham narrowly beat out the Jersey Tomato for its spot in the Final Four. Seaside Heights crushed the PNC Arts Center in its third round matchup. Now, we’ll see if our state’s favorite spicy meat can handle another tough match-up against Seaside which has been rolling through its rounds like a runaway skee ball!
And, our East/West Battle has Asbury Park Division Champion Bruce Springsteen battling Lambertville Division Champ Garden State Parkway. The Boss, like Seaside, hasn’t had much of a challenge in his matchups. In round three, he beat Jack Nicholson easily. The Final Four round, though, puts him up against the GSP which has also had pretty easy goings in its games so far. Will Bruce drive his pink Cadillac all over the Parkway or will the GSP be too much of a toll for The Boss?
