The Jets are at home this week facing the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. Both teams are 1-1 and it will be a battle of the rookie quarterbacks, Geno Smith vs. E. J. Manuel. The bad news is that unlike other quarterbacks that had support in their rookie seasons like RG3 and Andrew Luck , Geno has receivers that can’t catch the ball and no game breakers. Quarterbacks are supposed to elevate the talent around them but they can only do so much. When you put the ball in the right spot, it’s up to the other teammates to make the plays.

Coming off of Eli’s loss to Denver and his older brother last week 41-23, the New York Giants are at the Carolina Panthers for a 1:00 p.m. game Sunday. Tom Coughlin will be coaching with a heavy heart with the passing of his brother on Monday. Eli Manning hasn’t really been playing like a 2 time MVP and he is having a real problem with interceptions lately. On Monday one of these teams will be 0-3 and that is a difficult hole to climb out of to make the playoffs. In a 16 game season every win is precious and the Giants need one tomorrow.

The Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) played on Thursday and lost 26-16 to the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0). It’s the Eagles’ 7th straight home loss in a row and now they have to prepare to play the Denver Broncos on September 29th.
