The New York Giants are looking of the first win of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs at 1:00 in Kansas City. Really this is a must win game. It’s not going to be a good year if they lose. The danger is that they are playing against former Eagles coach Andy Reid who knows their team intimately. Last week former Giants player Carl Banks called out his former team saying that they quit on Tom Coughlin. He added that their lackluster play is un-Giantlike if you are familiar with their history. They need to step up this week if they intend on rescuing this season.

The New York Jets are also away to face the Tennesse Titans at 4:05. Tennesse is the site where Mark Sanchez single handedly killed the Jets’ playoff chances and dreams with 4 interceptions. They now return to scene of the crime that sealed their doom last year during Monday night football. New rookie phenom Geno Smith gets his turn at bat. Both teams have 2-1 records. The magic word for the Jets this year is playoffs. Most sports analysts had them having a horrible season and only winning a few games. They said Rex Ryan was leading the walking dead. If he puts a winning season together with this bunch of scrappers, he will be candidate for Coach of the Year. I believe that with his great defensive strategies and some smoke & mirrors he could defy the low expectations the Jets have been given this year.

Eagles taking on Peyton Manning and the undefeated Denver Broncos this Sunday 4:00 at Mile High Stadium. The thin air at the Stadium can take it’s toll on the opposing team. The Eagles high powered offense must be on full steam ahead and not run out of gas like previous efforts. The problem will be stopping Peyton Manning’s offense.
