UPDATE! 10/19/13 : The dentist had to take everything down and has signs up saying “Clifton politics cancel Halloween” and “Call the Mayor”. Apparently the Police came over and told him to take everything down and now he is fighting the town! So right now there is nothing to see except those signs.

Just like with his Christmas decorations, no one does Halloween decorations better than the dentist on Grove Street in Clifton, NJ. Every year on Halloween, his house becomes one of the wonders of the world. If you get off Route 3 at Grove Street and go South, you can’t miss it. Over the years I have gone over and photographed it a few times. Here is a gallery of his 2013 set-up. It’s not just the quantity of the decorations, it is the quality. Sure it would be easy to just throw up loads of stuff. This is more than that. It is creative and fun and you can spend time appreciating each amazing set-up.

If you go over to the house to take a look, keep a couple of things in mind. First, don’t stop right on Grove Street and block traffic or possibly cause an accident. Find a parking space that is legal, doesn’t block people in or cause inconvenience for someone else. Just use common sense in general. Also, the house isn’t always lit up if you go at night. Weekends like Friday and Saturday night are usually a good bet but I can’t make any guarantees. I shot these last Friday night around 8:30-9:00 p.m. Check out our video and Gallery below!

Do you know a house that has an impressive Halloween display? Send us a pic. It doesn’t necessarily have to be as extensive as this house. It could be elaborate or it could just be something that is simple but really creative and unique. You can send pics to
