The red hot Philadelphia Eagles (8-5) are hoping to keep the winning streak going against the Minnesota Vikings at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. The Eagles have to take care of business. This is not a game they can afford to let slip away. Hopefully they don’t take this game too lightly. The Eagles are currently in a battle with the Cowboys for their division title and a playoff spot. Right now they have a one game lead over Dallas but if they go into their their final game of the season that way a Dallas win would mean they are done as the Cowboys hold the tie breaker. Their final game of the season could be for the whole bowl of wax and the division title. That game could wind up meaning everything. If the Eagles win tomorrow and Dallas loses they will be in pretty good shape.

The New York Jets (6-7) are hanging by a thread. They travel to Carolina to take on the (9-3) Panthers who are coming off a shellacking at the hands of their division rivals the New Orleans Saints. That’s not a good thing for the Jets. You never want to be playing a team thats coming off an embarassing loss because most likely they’re going to take it out on you! And the Jets road record isn’t exactly stellar as they have only won one game on the road this year. That coupled with their poor offense could mean bad news.

The New York Giants (5-8) are just playing for pride at 1:00 against everyones favorite Super Bowl candidates, the Seattle Seahawks, a really good team. Most people feel Seattle will be representing the NFC in the upcoming cold weather Super Bowl in Nw Jersey. Eliminated from any contention, the Giants are playing to keep their jobs and to see who will be cut or traded next season. They could still go out there and win the game to send a message that they can beat one of the best teams in football.
