The Punch Out Cancer benefit concert was held at The Saint in Asbury Park on Saturday night to raise money for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood-Johnson. A snowstorm and the bone chilling cold didn’t deter fans from coming out and making the evening a huge success. Besides, what could be a better way to kick off the new year than by hearing some kick ass local music and helping a great cause at the same time?

The awesome line-up included Wreaths, Gods, Empire Escorts, Those Modern Cavemen, and Only Living Boy. Every band brought their best when it was time to get on stage and play for this charity event.

There were also prize packages from Gaslight Anthem, The Aquarian Weekly, Saves The Day and more. Prizes were raffled off between the sets. The event was hosted by 95.5 WRAT’s Maria Mar who also handed out the raffle prizes to the winners. We won a package from The Bouncing Souls that included two LPs, stickers and a t-shirt.  We may have stacked that box with a large percentage of our raffle tickets!
