Cape May Named One of the Top U.S. Honeymoon Destinations

One of New Jersey’s crown jewel cities, Cape May, made the top one hundred list of honeymoon spots in the United States!

We think its mix of quaint Victorian homes, great shopping and beach activities make it a great honeymoon destination for people who don’t want to travel to top destinations like Chicago and Las Vegas. Wait, how did Hawaii’s amazing destinations not even make the top five? Honolulu was ranked number six and Maui made 12th place. The survey was done by WalletHub.com.

Sure, we’d have liked our beloved Cape May to rank a little higher than 82nd but when it’s up against every city in the U.S., we can’t be too choosy. 82nd was the overall rank but they came in 69th place in the individual category of activities and romanticism. They ranked in 88th place for budget and 80th in weather department.

So while Virginia is for lovers, Exit 0 is for newlyweds!
