Trenton250 is Trenton’s long-range Master Plan to rebuild and revitalize in response to the city’s 250th anniversary in 2042. The second of four meetings about how we as citizens can be involved in the Master Plan is next Monday night in the East Ward at 5:30 pm at the Habitat for Humanity/East Trenton Collaborative located at 601 N. Clinton Avenue in Trenton.
They’re also having a meeting in the North Ward on Tuesday, June 24th at 5:30 pm at the Reading Senior Center at 15 Ringold Street, Trenton, and a meeting for Spanish speakers on June 25th at 5:30 pm at the Sacred Heart Church, 343 S. Broad Street, Trenton.
There will also be a Trenton250 booth at Art All Night this weekend if you can’t attend the meetings. Art All Night is a 24-hour visual arts and music festival that sounds like an amazing time. It runs from 3:00pm on June 21st to 3:00pm pm June 22nd at the Roebling Wire Works building (675 South Clinton Ave., Trenton). Yes, it really is all night! Check out Art All Night on Facebook, too.
So, go and support the arts and talk about Trenton’s future with Trenton250 at Art All Night. They want input from as many citizens as possible.
They’re promoting a hashtag for people to give their ideas on what they want Trenton to be: #TrentonWillBe.
We think #TrentonWillBe just as important in the future as it is today and #TrentonWillBe a community to be proud of!
