The internet is confused about whether Jersey Johnny’s is in Woodland Park or Little Falls. To be fair, it’s kind of right on the edge of both. It doesn’t matter, it’s right off Route 46 and couldn’t be easier to find off the McBride Avenue exit. If you’re on a hot dog tour like we are, it’s an easy stop between Hot Grill and Rutt’s Hut in Clifton and Libby’s Lunch in Paterson. In fact, keep going on McBride Avenue and it will lead you right to Libby’s once you stop for a giant dog at Jersey Johnny’s.
There’s an original Jersey Johnny’s in Pequannock and this location opened just this year.
We’re totally in love with their sign, first off. It’s so sleek and beautiful.
And, we’re totally in love with this Cuban hot dog. Why haven’t we seen this on a menu before? It’s perfect! A crunchy grilled hot dog with ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard. It was so delicious that we almost ordered another one!
The All The Way dog was awesome, too! I love when a chili is nice and dark and not too runny.
I couldn’t resist their Ribeye Cheese Steak, either. It’s on a small enough roll that you could possibly eat something else with it. Some cheese steaks at other places are WAY to big! The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and the toppings were plentiful but not too overflowing.
The fries were good but we were a little disappointed with the amount of onion rings we got. Four rings seemed kind of skimpy for $3.09.
The dining room was nice and clean and there are even some picnic tables outside for a nice summer evening. Go check out Jersey Johnny’s!
Here are all our pictures from our visit, whether it’s in Little Falls or Woodland Park!
