We love visiting shore towns in winter for a different take on the usual craziness that summer brings. We headed to Sandy Hook recently, one of our favorite places to visit any time of year. We had in mind to capture the sunrise on a crisp morning but we almost didn’t make it. The snooze button almost won out. To say we made it with a few minutes to spare is no exaggeration. We no sooner parked and walked to the beach that the sun peeked over the horizon.
