Celebrate Arbor Day today by planting some free trees! Actually, you don’t even have to get your free tree seedlings today. You have until May 8th.
The New Jersey Tree Recovery Program is part of the New Jersey State Forestry Services. With sponsorships from Sustainable Jersey, the Arbor Day Foundation, Brothers International, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Wyndham Vacation Resorts and FedEx, we can get tree seedlings at many different locations around the state. Every county has more than a few places to pick them up.

Many of the dates on the original list are past so the Forestry Service recommends that you check their Facebook page for the most up-to-date information on locations to get your free trees. Don’t worry, though, there are still plenty of places to get trees before the end of the campaign on May 8th.
