My friend Suzy and I are taking in the Gentlemen on the Road Stopover this weekend and we’re planning on breaking it down here every night after all the shows are over for the day. Gentlemen of the Road Stopover is a three day event that Mumford and Sons is holding in Seaside Heights this Thursday through Saturday. National acts are playing a large stage on the beach and local bands are playing all over the rest of the boardwalk and Ocean Terrace area. Thursday night’s music included The Von Mons, Garden State Line, Deal Casino, The Accidental Seabirds and Tramps Like Us, a Springsteen tribute band. We got our wristbands at Will Call today and caught a few of the acts in between walking around the boardwalk and playing games of chance. We won a small stuffed star, in case you were wondering.
We managed to catch Deal Casino and Accidental Seabirds. Both bands sounded amazing and looked great up on the big stage. Check out the pictures below and check back in tomorrow night after the first full day of music, boardwalk and fun!
