Hot Dog Hut is a great little hot dog joint in Harrison that’s open so late into the night that I didn’t believe a picture of their sign on Facebook. They’re open Monday through Saturday 11:00am to 2:00am. We didn’t wait until after midnight to visit them for our Hot Dog Tour, though, but we could have!
Hot Dog Hut has a great hanging hot dog sign that you can’t miss when you’re driving down Harrison Avenue.
They serve pushcart style Sabrett dogs and have great topping choices.
My favorite was the chili and potatoes. I could eat a few more of these right now just from the picture. The chili was nice and spicy the way I like it. The potatoes were seasoned with rosemary and garlic and were creamy but not overcooked.
We also tried a dog with just the potatoes which was good, too.
The last two we tried are pictured above. On top was the Hot Beef Sausage with relish and mustard. This was a BIG hot dog and I loved the spiciness of it. This one dog was basically a meal. It’s split down the middle and the toppings nestled down the middle. The dog on the bottom of the picture is a Hot Works dog with mustard, kraut and hot onions. Wow, that’s good.
Check out all the pictures from our visit to Hot Dog Hut in Harrison and make a trip there soon!
