Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day! Black cats have the lowest adoption rate in shelters and the highest rate of euthanasia. As black cat staff members, we can attest to the fact that having a house panther is totally cool. You should consider getting yourself one so you could save a kitty’s life.
Black Cat Appreciation day was started by Wayne Morris to honor his sister who passed away years ago on August 17. There was a black cat in her life so Wayne decided to celebrate her beloved cat.
