We attended the Factory Bazaar last weekend and got some cool art from local artists, listening to great local musicians and met great people. You should check it out next Sunday!
Held in Print Bandit’s workspace at 45 East Madison Avenue in Clifton, this alternative flea market had all kinds of stuff to walk around and look at while keeping out of the winter weather. Print Bandit is operated by Jimi Vee and he was really welcoming. We saw him mingling with all the attendees and he even talked to us for a little while.
This is going to be a really cool event every week so make sure you try to stop by soon. In addition to paintings and drawings, there were also vendors with cool tshirts and other apparel, lots of jewelry and even yummy vegan baked goods.
We bought some space-themed art from Doc.Droe and his wife from East Rutherford. You can see more from them on Instagram under the name @doc.droe. Their work blends graffiti elements with more classic brush work.
We also saw some great live music from Papa Reese, Andrew Lange and Wildface.
Today’s musical guests are John Cozz, Steve. and The Clocktown Giants.
They also had a food table where the empanadas looked and smelled really good! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to sample them because we used up all our money on art.
Now that winter and the cold weather have set in, you know you’ll be looking for something to do on a Sunday. Go check out the Factory Bazaar in Clifton!
