Swiss Chalet Bakery & Cafe, Morristown – Review

We had a nice little lunch in Morristown recently at the Swiss Chalet Bakery and Cafe in Morristown. We were tempted to just eat all pastries for lunch because they have a huge display of amazing looking baked goods but we controlled ourselves and had a savory lunch instead.

It started with chicken noodle and minestrone soups. Both were delicious and came in nice sized bowls.  They were serve-yourself by the counter so we could control how much broth and veggies we got.

The Chicken Quesadilla was my favorite part of the meal.  It had lots of veggies and chicken and didn’t fall apart when cutting into each triangle.  The quesadilla and sandwiches all came with a delicious chick pea and green bean salad.

Another diner got the Chicken Panini which came with a nice juicy chicken breast slice, ham, Swiss cheese and sun-dried tomato mayo.  This sandwich looked great!

Finally, we also tried the Cuban Panini which was ham, pork loin, Swiss cheese, pickles and dijon mustard.  It was really crunchy on the outside with ample grill marks and nice and juicy on the inside.  Perfect panini!
