Paper Streets are one of our favorite indie bands and they recently released their new song “One More With Feeling” over at our friend’s music website Cool Dad Music. The song is off the Brooklyn/Jackson, NJ band’s forthcoming EP Simple Silver Stars.

Stephen Stec is an amazing guitarist and is work here is no exception. The song opens with his droning, swirling guitar before settling in with a more dreamlike feel punctuated with some minimalist notes. The understated vocals by Cody Ste Marie work amazingly well with the music. Bassist Lou Carrao and drummer Anthony Meleo, as always, are solid here.
The band worked on the song and EP with legendary producer Mitch Easter at his Fidelitorium Recording Studio in North Carolina. Yes, that Mitch Easter. The one who produced R.E.M. records Chronic Town and Murmur. Enough said. The band keeps making outstanding modern rock and I cannot wait for the new record.
