We’ve been hearing from more and more friends and readers that they’d like to know where we’re going each week so they can join us. We get invited to events, hear about fun exhibits and are interested in lots of different places all the time. Here’s what is on our radar this week. We can’t guarantee that we’ll go to all these places but there’s a good chance we’ll be at some of these. Support local arts or get outside and do something with us.

2016 QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning

Friday-Sunday, July 29th-31st, Solberg-Hunterdon Airport, Whitehouse Station

The 34th Annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. Join the other 100 balloons ascending into the sky and experience “Love at First Flight!” You can take a balloon ride (and go up, up and away) during any of our mass ascensions.
Hot Air Balloon Ascension/Ride Times: Friday, July 29th at 6:30 pm; Saturday, July 30th at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm; Sunday, July 31th at 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.

Hot Air Balloon rides are $225 per person in the morning and $250 per person in the evening. You will need to purchase a general admission ticket as well in order to get on the festival grounds.
