Wildwood Farmers Market – Last Day this Saturday!

We visited the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market recently and got some really amazing local produce and packaged goods. It’s at the corner of Pacific and Schellenger Avenues and is held from 8 am until 12:30 pm through September 3rd. So, this Saturday is the last time you can check them out!

We picked up some of the best peaches we’ve had all summer along with the first plums of the season.

We also picked up lots of great fresh produce which was enjoyed throughout our week of vacation in Ocean City.

Our favorite finds, though, were two packaged good vendors. We got some of the most delicious pickles from Crisp & Co. based in Delaware. And, the whole family enjoyed amazing jams and marmalades from S&S Kitchens in Millville. We got the Jersey Strawberry Butter, Jersey Pearfection, Blackberry Jam and Lemon Marmalade. We had to buy two extra loaves of bread for the week because everyone had so many pieces of toast and jam or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
