A Visit to Wightman’s Farms in Morristown for Halloween

Happy Halloween everybody! We visited Wightman’s Farms last week to check out their corn maze and try our hands at the Pumpkin Sling Shot. They also have apple picking, hay rides and apple picking. You could really make a day of fun at Wightman’s Farms.

We had a great time and so did everyone else that we saw enjoying all the activities. We checked out the corn maze first and it took us about 45 to complete all the puzzles and hidden placard trivia inside the maze.

We like to try at least one corn maze every year to see if we can finish it without getting frustrated with each other. This year we made it out without screaming!

After the corn maze, we checked out the other mazes but didn’t try them. There were some easier kid ones and some more challenging ones.

There were tons of pumpkins and gourds for sale and the farm store had pot pies and lots of crafts.

At the end of our visit, we tried the pumpkin slingshots and they were really fun. For $2 you got to choose three little pumpkins to load into a slingshot and try to get them into barrels or ring a bell. Workers stood close by to give you a prize for getting the pumpkins into the barrels.
