Shop Local, NJ! Washington Street in Hoboken

We love to shop New Jersey’s great downtowns and Hoboken is one of the best.  Unlike in the evening, there are parking spots during the day and everyone’s happy to see you.  We had a great time shopping there last week.

Our favorite find of the day was Aether Game Cafe. You can browse their selection of board games and card sets or you can order a specific game through them. If you order something from them, we were told you’d get a 20% discount since they save money by not having to use shelf space for it.

You can also rent game time there and try games out. They also have set nights for different games so you can meet up with other gamers.  And, even better news…  they just got licensed to serve coffee drinks.  Now, we’re definitely going to come back for games and coffees!

If your loved ones aren’t gamers, maybe they’d like some jewelry?  We found a simply gorgeous store called Noellery in Hoboken.

The whole store is stocked with the most amazing modern-styled jewelry I feel like I’ve ever seen.  To be sure, I pointed out quite a few things that Ed could buy me.

You know we’re suckers for NJ stuff, too.  Look at these cute Hoboken plates, mugs and cards.

We just loved everything about this store.  I hope Ed got the hint that he should come back without me!

We’ve got a lot of runners in our family so New Jersey Running Company is definitely somewhere we are interested in.

They’ve got a hydration system for everyone in the family.

Gift ideas are even labeled throughout the store.  If you’re not a runner but have one to buy for, they will definitely help you out.

Of course, a trip to Hoboken wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Tunes?
