We had a friend in town visiting from Chicago and one of the places we wanted to go was the beach. For someone visiting from a landlocked state the chance to dip your toes in the ocean is a strong desire.
Of course we decided to head down to one of our favorite beach towns, Asbury Park. It was a particularly beautiful evening. We really enjoy the beach north of the convention center. It is a little less crowded and a little quieter than further down towards the old Casino. We felt the ocean, walked on the sand and carefully maneuvered the rocks on the jetty while a couple were having engagement pictures taken. All at a glorious sunset.
