Want to know where we’re going each week so you can join us?  We get invited to events, hear about fun exhibits and are interested in lots of different places all the time.  Here’s what is on our radar this week. We can’t guarantee that we’ll go to all these places but there’s a good chance we’ll be at some of them.  Support local arts or get outside and do something with us!

The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival (Year 2)

Saturday, September 23rd from 6pm to 9pm, Insectropolis, Toms River

Here at Insectropolis we obviously love bugs, but we also love Art!   Please join us on Sept 23 from 6 till 9pm to celebrate the closing of our latest exhibition Show Us Your Arthropod. Last chance to meet the artisits and purchase their art!  This is a group show featuring artists from different backgrounds, but all of the works are inspired by the incredible world of ARTHROPODS. We will supply light refreshments and snacks. (18 and over)

Williams Center Craft Beer Night

Saturday, September 23rd from 7pm to midnight, Williams Center for the Arts, Rutherford

It’s going to be another fun night at The Williams Center! Enjoy a special selection of handpicked craft beers, curated for everyone from the occasional beer drinker all the way up to the craft beer aficionado. So come on out for a great cause and #drinkforgood There’s No Cover for the Craft Beer Event.

Hoboken Fall Arts & Music Festival

Sunday, September 24th from 11am to 6pm, Washington Street, Hoboken

Over 300 artists, crafters, food vendors & local business participating.
Lots of delicious food. 2 stages of music. Performances by: The Skullers, Campfire Flies, Zydeco Revelators, Sensational Country Blues Wonders, Frankie Morales & the Mambo of the Times Orchestra, The Queens of Soul (celebrating 5 of Hoboken’s finest female divas) backed by the Sun Dogs Orchestra and much more.

Activities for children: Face painting, balloon animals, performances by Preschool of Rock, Songs for Seeds and Garden St. School of the Performing Arts.

Festival On The Green

Sunday, September 24th from noon to 5pm, The Green, Morristown

Come out to the downtown heart of Morristown, NJ for live music, entertainment for all ages, local vendors and businesses, and restaurants! Join MCSOG and come visit us at the Green on Sunday, Sept 24th. We will be selling a variety of hand-blown items as well as supplying information about all of our classes. Celebrate the rich culture and history of Morristown!
