The Bash Festival made a stop at Old Bridge Township Raceway in Englishtown and even though storms cut the show short it was rocking affair. This was the first big music event since Warped Tour left the area and with a hardcore lineup like this it was a fan’s dream show.

Punk veterans Rancid headlined with Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, L7 and Madball in tow providing non-stop action. The setup was perfect with a VIP section right off to the side with a great viewing site. Craft beer vendors served their wares prior to the show and was a great addition making sure no one had to miss anything. A nice selection of food vendors as well as some cool craft vendors rounded out the scene as well. It’s so amazing to see this style of music still going as strong as ever.

The energy and passion these bands bring to their fans does not go unnoticed. The place was packed, the pits were active and the crowdsurfers were ready to launch. This was a great day in Englishtown and hopefully the start of more great shows here.
